Ricotta Crostini (Bruschetta)

Ingredients

+ Sliced baguette (toasted)
+ Ricotta
+ Fresh Lemon zest
+ Strawberry slices (or any fruit of choice)
+ Imperial Olive Estilo "Affinato" di Modena Balsamic Vinegar
+ Honey 
+ Fresh Mint 

Optional

+ Italian bread (toasted)
+ Grilled peaches are delicious as a fruit option

Directions

1. Mix ricotta with lemon zest.

2. Toast your bread of choice. 

3. Spread ricotta and lemon zest mixture on toast. 

4. Add strawberry slices (or fruit of your choice). 

5. Drizzle with honey and balsamic vinegar. 

6. Top off with fresh mint leaf as a beautiful and tasty garnish. 

This is a favorite of ours for breakfast, or to accompany a spring salad, and great as an hors d'oeuvres.
